My name is Angela Dizig and I have been teaching for approximately 15 years in Durham Region. I have taught kindergarten to Grade 2 for all of these years.
I have two small children at home and absolutely love the early years of development. I have tutored several children at school and privately, in the primary grades while specializing in language and math. Taking the time to listen and create a safe and fun learning atmosphere for your child is something I strive to achieve. I will collaborate effectively with parents and the organization to increase student performance. Making tutoring fun and engaging through games and interactive technology is key to each tutoring session.
I would love the opportunity to help build your child's confidence and work on any areas of strengths and needs. Together we can achieve anything!
I have been teaching in the Primary Grades for over 20 years righ here in Durham Region! I spent many of those teaching a special class called a Primary Language Class where I worked with students with diverse learning needs in both Language and Math on their own individualized programs. Whether it is through games or hands-on activities, making learning fun and interactive is something that I strive to do as a classroom teacher.
